First off Borax is 100% natural. It is a mineral from the earth that is washed, dried, and boxed with nothing added. It is a natural softener of hard water, which exists in 85% of homes. The 20 Mule Borax protects your detergent so that it is working at full strength. It also can remove stains so they will not settle back in.
Here is what I tried with the Borax:
- Used it to help boost my laundry detergent.
- Used a 1/2 cup to clean my toilets.
- Cleaned my garbage disposal.
- Deodorized our trash can.
- Used it to help cleaner glassware in the dishwasher.
- Homemade cleaner.
- Fun slime to make with the kids.
- Protect our homes from mice especially our farmhouse.
I was given this to try through the Purex Insiders Program, but all ideas expressed are my own.
I have three free Borax product coupons to give away, try your luck!

ReplyDeleteI used to use only cloth diapers for my kids. Pampers were just too expensive back then. One of the ways I found to keep them bright white was with 20 Mule Team Borax.
ReplyDeleteI also lived in Okla, where there is an issue with roaches. We would sprinkle some around the baseboards and it helped control those nasty pests.
I love Borax.
