Food With Local Flavor

I just had pagach for lunch and if you don't have a clue what that is, no worries neither did I.  It turned out to basically be a mix between pierogies and pizza. When we come home to my hometown in North Eastern Pennsylvania one thing we always try to do is eat some of our local favorites.  The heritage of foods here date back to the immigrant groups that inhabited the area mostly to work the mines.  So we enjoy pierogies, potato pancakes, sweet pizzas, and one of my favorites is a pasty.  Now living outside Philadelphia we have our own local favorites when at home such as soft pretzels, water ices, really good hoagies made with fresh rolls, and of course cheese steaks.  What is your favorite hometown food?
