Skoy Giveaway Ditch Those Paper Towels

When I think of excess paper towel usage I think way back to our shore house in Avalon and my friend Lisa wrapping her hand up with probably ten sheets of paper towels and cleaning like a maniac.  Germaphobe much?  I was raised that paper towels were sacred, probably due to their cost so this overuse came as a shock.  Fast forward ten years where I had added my husband whom I had met in that shore house and two little ones to my life and we have been racing through paper towels much like Lisa.  Not because we were swaddling our dainty hand with them, just because frankly kids are messy! With Cecily out of diapers, we no longer have baby wipes sitting around and so paper towels have become our new go to.  When my friend Kelly, who runs an in home daycare and has three of her own under 4 years old, mentioned that she needed to figure out a way to lower her paper towel budget I went off in search of a solution.  This is when I discovered Skoy.  I loved the concept and so I contacted them to see if they would be open to a review and giveaway.  Three days later I was thrilled to receive the Skoy cloths in the mail.
Why I am loving them:
  • They are 100% biodegrable
  • They take the place of 15 rolls of paper towels.
  • They are strong enough to clean with and soft enough to wipe a sticky toddler face.
  • They can be washed in the dish washer or washer.
  • I can sanitize them with a quick shot in my microwave.
  • They don't stink.
  • Skoy cloths solve my problem.
Looking for a fundraiser for your organization, make it a practical one and try Skoy's new program.
These cool cloths are now available at the Container Store and Costco.   You can check out all their information on their website. Take the time to check out their facebook page as well.

  1. My sister Cheryl had the same feelings about over use of paper towels. Back in 2008 she decided to make an alternative in fabric. She is still using them- she washes them in hot water and microwaves them while wet to sanitize them. Perfect.
