Things We Have Done for the Storm

• Rich fixed the generator, which is good since our fridges and freezers are stocked!
• Charged all the flashlights.
• Cleared space in our junk room should we need to take protected shelter.  Getting hit in the head with the  fondue pot or pressure cooker would not have been fun.
• Laundry is in process, who knows how the clothes may pile up without power.  The generator is enough to run the fridge and TV.
• I shopped the other day and have plenty of prepared foods that need to just be heated up on our gas range or wood stove.
• Wood is chopped and ready to heat the house.
• Plenty of liquids are ready including water.
• Kids are clean and shiny!
• Sheets and towels are fresh.
• Vacuuming is in process.
• Outdoor furniture is secured.
• Dishwasher will be run later and the paper plates etc... are out and ready for use.

Still have a few things left to do, like take down the Halloween decorations and put away the plastic toys outside.
