This time of year, we love getting the mail. After dinner the children split up the pile of cards and each get to open a few. Cole is able to read the cards this year and Cecily simply delights in everything mail related. Holiday cards can be a big expense. Even if you are able to get a deal on the cards themselves, postage will set you back quite a bit. I think we spent about $100 this year and are sending out about 100 cards. Is it necesary in the age of Facebook to send out a card? Maybe not, but we still delight in it!
